Why The James Brand The Ellis is My Urban EDC Knife

The James Brand The Ellis is a slip-joint (non-locking) knife with two additional tools.

It is built around a partially-serrated Swedish Sandvik 12C27 stainless-steel blade and is available in four different scale options. The newest feature being the addition of a pair of really nice scissors.

The scissors have a very smooth and modern retention design that allow them to stand out from your grandpas old multi tool. If you can’t cut it with the Ellis’s knife blade, you can almost assuredly cut it with scissors.

Other features include a drop point blade with serrations, a combination bottle-opener and screwdriver, and the “All Things” scraper, pry and a bail loop for attaching to your keys, carabiner or backpack. The new Ellis also features a new deep-carry wire clip in a tip up, right hand carry option.
