How to make Waxed Jute

Urban Knife Guy shares how to make waxed jute in your kitchen for a fire kit.

Waxed jute is essentially pieces of jute rope that have been soaked in wax. Jute in itself is a great tinder but when soaked with wax, it becomes a great fire extender. When you want to use it, you can break the wax at the end and tease the jute rope so it frays open. Then, you can light it up and then add wood kindling to build your fire.
