Based out of China, CIVIVI is a sub-brand of We Knives that focuses on offering a functional, utilitarian, EDC product line at more affordable prices. This knife is a larger version of the original Ki-V and was designed by OSTAP HEL.

Nitro-V is a newer boutique stainless steel sold by New Jersey Steel Baron which was first released in 2017. The steel was designed and produced in collaboration with Buderus Steel. It is a version of Uddeholm AEB-L modified. NJSB added Nitrogen and Vanadium to improve edge performance, and to achieve high hardness and extreme corrosion resistance.
